FIRST RECORD OF JUNGLE OWLET (GLAUCIDIUM RADIATUM TICKELL, 1833) FROM BANGLADESH

Abstract: We used to carry out bird watching in Rajshahi University campus 2-3 times in a week. During such bird watching on 13 October 2021 morning we heard a bird call and spotted the bird. The bird was photographed and identified as Jungle Owlet, Glaucidium radiatum Tickell, 1833. This is the first record for Bangladesh.
