FIRST SIGHTING RECORD OF COLLARED PRATINCOLE, GLAREOLA PRATINCOLA IN BANGLADESH

AbstractFor bird watching we visited the Mohonpur Upazila, 25km away from Rajshahi city, on 6 November 2020 and found three Pratincoles near a beel. On 12 December 2020 again we spotted three Pratincoles in the same place. Later on the Pratincoles were identified as Collared Pratincole, Glareola pratincola and it is the first record in Bangladesh. Collared Pratincole has never reported from Bangladesh before it.
