A qualitative approach was followed to collect information from the respondents, and this open-ended questionnaire was administered to them. The obtained data were analyzed by percentage. The result showed that the factors for good academic achievement for male students were regular study, reading more books, limited use of mobile phones, and seeking help from the teacher. On the other side, for female students, the factors were regular study, limited use of mobile phones, studying attentively, and attending every class. For bad academic results, the factors for male students were irregular study, not giving enough attention to study, misuse of social media, and objective-type questions. On the other side, for female students, the factors were irregular study, not being admitted to a favorite subject, problems facing understanding the syllabus, and irregular classes. In this study, no gender difference was found.
